My name is Nick Tulip and I thought I would email you and tell you about this great news.

About 2 months and ago I have created an application (containing the Jmail Component in the zip file) that has been shown on Microsoft.com, and pretty much all the Active Server Pages sites on the internet.

Well... A month ago I had uploaded my site to hypermart.net and just from hypermart (where they have stats) there have been 15,139 downloads in the last month.

Just thought I would let you guys now since i'm so happy myself about this whole thing.

Jag har gjort ett script baserat på w3-JMail finns att ta hem på www.dimac.se . Vad jag gjorde för att undvika timeouts är att om man som i mitt fall tankar in adresserna från en DB ... är att man lägger över recordsetet i en array och jobbar mot arrayen istället.
Typ:

  sql = "select sEmail from member"
  set recordset = myconnection.execute(sql)
  rs = recordset.getrows
  set recordset = nothing

Sen är det bara att skapa en for-loop som går från 0 till UBound(rs,1). Det blir en aning flummigt eftersom man får en flerdimetionell array .. men det går ;-D Varje gång loopen går runt skickar du ett mail till den aktuella "posten" i arrayen.

Komponenten w3-JMail rekomenderar jag tungt ...
Det är super-duper-snabb

Vi körde tidigare ett annat script som typ tog 4 timmar på sig att maila till 15000 pers. Nu tar det ungefär 15 minuter.
